The Premiere event of the year is the Santa Clara County Women’s Golf Association Championship.   This 36 hole Medal Play, competition crowns the champions of Santa Clara County for 70 years!   Look at all the champions in the history !

The Championship is open to all women golfers who participate in Santa Clara County Woman’s Golf Clubs. The contest is steeped in stiff competition in the Championship flight with the top golfers battling over the prestigious title of being the best woman golfer in the county.  All the competition is flighted, and awards go to the top golfer in each flight along with awarding a perpetual silver loving cup to the low net winner over the entire field.  There are numerous stories to tell about past competitions, and the media has reported on this event for many years with article ranging from low handicap nuns to teenage competitors, and returning champions to participants who have gone on to become teaching and touring pros.
